Diksha / QRCODE Project with Education Ministry
Jnana Prabodhini is now an official partner of HRD Ministry, Govt. of India in its new initiative DIKSHA www.diksha.gov.in
DIKSHA is an acronym for Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing. DIKSHA is a national digital platform for teachers which offers resources for teaching, learning and professional development. DIKSHA provides open, modular and scalable technology that state governments and other organizations can seamlessly integrate with their respective teacher-centric initiatives.Teachers can access and create high quality teaching, learning and assessment resources for a subjects and levels in any Indian language. More than 1000 videos have been produced by Jnana Prabodhini. This was a project done alongside SCERT and Balbharati.
In India, teachers are increasingly creating and making use of technology-based innovative solutions in their classrooms to help students learn better. Some state governments have also initiated programs to support their teachers digitally.
Maharashtra government through its arms Maharashtra State Council of Education and Training (MSCERT) and Maharashtra State Bureau of Textbook Production and Curriculum Research, Pune (Balbharati) is working with Jnana Prabodhini for the development of e-resources keeping students and teachers as the target audience. These resources would be made available with the use of the QR code (printed in text books) on Diksha Platform www.diksha.gov.in/explore and through the Diksha app. Search #gyanqr at Diksha app or portal.
